Aah  melancholy!!! Just having to face a number of problems at the same time this month so feeling grey... Anyway, everything in life is just a phase and never lasts long.. So we move on and paint them blue, violet, purple, ............

So coming to crochet,I got  hooked onto booties once again and started making some sneakers for a change.Must say some written patterns are confusing and extremely long and might be due to my lack of concentration, got bored following other patterns and ended up with my own !!! This is the first time such a thing happened to me..Anyways after a long time, which felt like eons, I had my ' Eureka ' moment.

I must say that I have been lazy, oops!!! Have used Double crochet instead of single or half double crochet, since the wait was too long.. Shame on me !!! Luckily this aint the finished product , which is evident from the upside down laces.Hehe.. ;) It is a prototype for the finished product but seems like I am on the right track..

Baby Boy Blue Booties....

 I made these crochet booties especially for baby boys, although actually they can be worn by all babies. They are quick to make. I went through many patterns and came up with these with changes here and there.

Once you make a couple of them, you get a hang of it and can soon start designing your own...

The crochet baby shoe on the left is a beautiful cuffed shoe pattern. Simple, spacious, safe and covered... A lovely robust pattern.

The pattern on the right is a very plain and simple pattern, very good for beginners...

Sometimes you look at a pair of shoes and you know they will be great.. The last two pairs fall in this category.. Slide them on and hop, hop, hop.... :)

I made these booties mostly keeping baby girls in mind...  Baby boys will follow soon..

Handmade crochet baby booties

I have been obsessed with these cute things.. After making frocks I thought to myself, would it not be nice if I could make some booties along with them?

Aah and what a wonderful thought it was!!! I ended up making tons of booties... and seem to have a tough time thinking of anything other than these cute little things... These are my sweet bundles of joy..

Starting from the tiniest and the simplest to the biggest and the most complicated, the journey was fun and I intend to continue this journey even further... Having tried a range of baby crochet shoes, from ballerina shoes, simple basic shoe to the more complicated cuffed shoes, I seem to get a hang of them now.
